I'm seeing a lot of women, especially trying to reach their weight goals by slashing calories, huge. I'm talking like a 1000- 600 cal deficit. And then complain about not seeing any progress. Tight Hip Flexors, also known as ilioPsoas. What does it mean? Where is it at? Why Does it matter? Can Often be felt as tightness in the lower back. Or a tightness at the very front of the hip joint itself. The psoas is a big muscle that attaches the legs to midsection. Its a large muscle so it likes to work. However, it often over works, resulting in the tightness and causing muscle imbalances, which causes pain and posture imbalance as well. The tightness causes the pelvis
